Men's Health

Males are conditioned by society to be tough, strong, and not complain.  For some guys, this means they are less likely to seek professional help for medical issues.  For example, recent studies indicate that men are far less likely to recognize that they are depressed and seek help, when compared to women.  It's important for men to realize that seeking medical advice or help is not a sign of weakness.  It's a sign of intelligence and common sense.

Many diseases and medical problems obviously apply exclusively to men, like prostate cancer.  Other problems are not exclusive to males, just more common.  Examples of these types of conditions are color blindness and hair loss.  Color blindness is roughly ten times more likely to occur in men than women.
